Today, we gather in Rudong Economic Development Zone, a hot land for the development of high-tech industries, to solemnly hold the groundbreaking ceremony of the "Nord New Materials Phase III 5G high-frequency high-speed copper clad plate" project. On behalf of the 200 employees of Nord New Materials Company, I would like to extend my warmest welcome to all the leaders, guests, and friends who have attended today's ceremony. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all levels and departments who care about and support the development of Nord's Phase III project and the growth of Nord's enterprise!
The "Nord New Materials Phase III 5G High Frequency High Speed Copper Cladding Board" is a plan and investment project proposed by the Rudong County Party Committee and Government to accelerate industrial urbanization and build a high-tech industry cluster area in Rudong. It is built through the Rudong County Industry Guidance Fund, and is planned and constructed by Rongshi Yida Fund, Nantong Mingwang Jingchen Fund, and Nord New Materials.
The implementation of this project mainly promotes the structural adjustment and industrial innovation upgrading of Nord New Materials' traditional copper clad plate products, and is committed to developing innovative high-frequency and high-speed copper clad plate products for 5G communication. The new products are widely used in industries such as aerospace, signal base stations, military radars, semiconductors, communication, automotive intelligent driving, smartphones, smart cities, and the Internet of Things, In line with the strategic emerging materials industry and encouraged support projects in the 13th Five Year Plan of the country, we strive to smoothly put into production in the second half of 2019 and achieve the substitution of domestic materials for imported materials, breaking the monopoly and blockade of foreign high-end materials.
Nord New Materials Phase III has a total investment of 500 million yuan and covers an area of 105 acres. The investment will be divided into three phases, and after all are completed and put into operation, it will achieve an annual income of 1.5 billion yuan and create 300 new employment positions.
The smooth foundation laying of the Nord New Materials Phase III project is an affirmation of the construction of the Nord project by leaders at all levels of Rudong County Party Committee, County Government, and Rudong Economic Development Zone. We will follow the requirements of the Rudong County Party Committee, County Government, and Rudong Economic Development Zone for the development of the project, closely follow the national strategic planning and layout, closely follow the scientific and technological innovation ideas, and carry forward the spirit of "enduring hardships and striving hard", Efforts will be made to build the Nord Phase III project into a leading modern, standardized, and standardized high-frequency high-speed copper clad plate production base in China. We firmly believe that with the support and assistance of the leadership of the Rudong County Party Committee, County Government, Rudong Economic Development Zone, and various departments at all levels, as well as the brave efforts of the base builders, our project will definitely be completed and put into operation on schedule. We will repay the care, support, and love of leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life with a hundred times our efforts and even better performance.
