In order to enable all employees of the company to understand the basic knowledge of fire protection, improve safety awareness, enhance self-protection potential, master emergency response and escape skills for sudden fires, learn to extinguish fires, and orderly evacuate personnel and property to ensure the safety of employees' lives and company property; On June 20, 2018, Jiangsu Nord New Materials Co., Ltd. organized a practical fire drill for all employees.

Qi Changgang, the general manager of the company, served as the commander in charge of organizing and directing the entire fire drill. The drill working group is divided into four groups: alert group, evacuation group, fire extinguishing group, and rescue group.

On the afternoon of June 19th from 15:00 to 16:00, the company organized representatives from various departments and groups to participate in the drill communication and coordination meeting in the meeting room on the first floor. Relevant personnel were trained on fire safety knowledge and practical operations, and the fire drill work was carefully deployed and arranged.

At 8:00 am on June 20th, the safety officer issued a fire alarm signal. After receiving instructions, each drill working group quickly arrives, and all volunteer firefighters and staff participating in the drill wear fire drill work cards. In the shortest possible time, in the workshop, stairwells, and emergency exits, they use commands and gestures to command employees to evacuate in an orderly manner from the designated route; Quickly and orderly evacuate all personnel on site to a safe emergency gathering point.

The fire drill shall be carried out in an orderly and tense manner according to the predetermined plan. After the overall evacuation was completed, personnel from various departments gathered at the emergency gathering point in front of the company's office building and conducted personnel counting and statistics. Subsequently, the fire brigade took over the scene of the fire.

Commander Qi delivers a summary report
After the drill, the commander gave an explanation of fire safety emergency operations and fire escape techniques to all employees, teaching them what everyone should do in the event of a fire, how to correctly report, extinguish, and evacuate, and how to self rescue and escape. Finally, the commander gave a general evaluation of the fire drill and fully affirmed the results. He praised the employees for obeying the command and acting quickly, and demanded that everyone further improve their awareness of safety production responsibilities. He announced that the fire drill had achieved a complete success.
Through this fire drill activity, the safety awareness and fire extinguishing potential of the personnel participating in the fire drill have been enhanced, and all employees have gained a further understanding of fire safety knowledge. The potential for responding to fires has been improved. During the fire drill, the organizational potential, command potential, and adaptability potential of each drill working group were also exercised.
